The Good Teacher

The Good Teacher is a film about the lives of school teachers in a low-income urban area and the challenges they face while trying to provide a quality education to students. Dominique Daily is a first year school teacher who gives up his football career after an injury to teach Math at Louis Jones high school while struggling to cope with his short-lived life long dream of being a football star. Ms. Kelly is a Teacher who identified as Transgender. She works with her students to educated them on unique individuals in our work and how they mind works through psychology. Dr. Bolton and Ms. Kim are the Principal and Assistant Principal at the school. Coach King and Coach Coor teaches are students about health and fitness. Mrs. Konarski is a Caucasian teacher who teaches African-American studies. Mr. Kareem is the science teacher. Mr. Michael is the behavioral interventionist and Mr. Parker is the school counselor.
